My First Chemistry Experiment *all by myself*

I just finish my lunch, n before that, i was at Chemistry Lab 4 for my practical session... The experiment for the week is stoichiometry n the chemical equation.. Our replacement demonstrator is Miss Shelly, n she's nice.. very nice... I'll miss her though...
For today's exp, we did double decomposition reaction between Sodium iodide n lead(II) nitrate...
When mixed together, yellow precipitate formed, which is Lead(ii) iodide.. The yellow is beautiful n glittery, i'm not sure, where the glittery effect came from, either from the original lead(ii) iodide or it only came after the filter paper containing lead(ii) iodide being rinsed with ethanol which smells soooo nice n cool too..
The filter which is wet was placed in an oven to dry it so that when weigh the filter paper to get the mass of lead(ii) iodide, the weight of water is not weighed together... After 30 minutes, we open the oven, a very nice smell came from the oven.. It just like a newly baked biscuit.. so nice...
Then we complete the exp... The boring part in the exp were when we need to wait for the mixture of NaNo3 n PbI2 to completely filtered.. Also when we had to wait for the precipitate to dry.. It seems like forever... The condition worsen when the tap is not running! How could us do an experiment without water? We washed all our apparatus with distilled water instead my hands too.
The exp was fun... What others said about the exp is hard, so tough, is not true.. U just need to be more careful, take care of your apparatus, use them in the correct way, n have fun... Any problems, ask the demonstrators.. They will help..
